Who we Are
Our Community Club has been around in one form or another for many many years.
The Community Center that stands on the grounds now was built in 2002
and has been serving the Big Ivy and surrounding communities since then.
As part of the Big Ivy Community Development, the work of the BICC aims to foster inclusive community participation, providing an environmentally
sound facility for education, recreation, and celebration.
We serve the local community and surrounding communities
in Buncombe, Madison and Yancey County.
We have public grounds as well as public service programs such as our food pantry.
We host multiple events and programs throughout the year that are intent on helping our Big Ivy community thrive.
